Do you find that, despite direction from the top, your Diversity & Inclusion initiatives often get stuck at the individual team level? Do you sense that team leaders have other priorities to manage and, with the best will in the world, D&I priorities seem to remain at the bottom of the list? Do you wish team leaders were just as committed to D&I progress as senior leaders?

In this session we will show you how to find out what motivates team leaders and middle managers and what doesn’t. You will learn skills and techniques to influence and motivate them so that everyone is pulling in the same direction to embed Diversity & Inclusion.

The session will be run on the Zoom platform. There will be interaction with participants and exercises very similar to a face to face event. We will run 2 x 90 minute session, with a half hour comfort break in between.

We limit group size to 10 people, so there is time to get to know each other, work in break out groups and ask specific questions about your situation.

Session Content:

  • How to find out what keeps middle managers and team leaders awake at night;
    How to adapt your priorities to fit in with their priorities; and
    Tools and techniques that make it easier for team leaders to meet your organisation’s D&I objectives.

This session is for you if:

  • You currently have responsibility for driving Diversity & Inclusion;
  • You are a Director in your company
  • Your role sits within Human Resources and you want to learn how to motivate your internal clients to meet the overall objectives of the organisation;
  • You are a Diversity & Inclusion practitioner or champion; or
  • You have a keen interest in D&I and want to learn how to start embedding it where you are.
