We offer a unique leadership development programme which puts Diversity and Inclusion at its centre.

Our Inclusive Leadership development programme introduces our Eight Inclusive Leadership Behaviours(SM) through a modular package, each providing practical skills which leaders can apply in their own context right away.

In this Taster, delegates will learn more about the content of the full Programme and how it will prepare leaders to role-model and embed diversity and inclusion in their teams and organisations. Participants will also take part in a preview of the programme in the form of the Coaching Skills module.

This preview will allow participants to personally experience the impact of our approach.

Coaching skills are important for any leader who aims to get the most from their people. Coaching others allows leaders to develop and encourage individual thinking and growth. In this Taster, we focus on listening and questioning, the major components of coaching. See these skills from a different perspective and experience them in the new context of Inclusive Leadership.

The Taster session will be facilitated by Rebecca Salsbury , an experienced senior leader herself and a Voice Associate D&I Consultant and Trainer.

Who it’s for

This Taster is specifically designed for HR, L&D and Business leaders selecting Leadership Development programmes for their organisations. The Taster would also suit potential future participants, such as team leaders or managers.

Rebecca’s leadership experience is in the media and digital technology sectors, where she has built and led large teams. Most recently, as a senior leader in the BBC, she honed her own leadership practice while shaping teams and hiring talent, changing team cultures, and developing the new managers and team leaders working in her department. Rebecca took part in the BBC’s leadership development programmes in which she facilitated short courses and individual coaching programmes for new and experienced leaders. In her spare time, Rebecca helped establish a staff network aimed at supporting women in male-dominated professions, and started a mentoring scheme as part of the network. She is passionate about encouraging women in technical roles, and helping them find ways to thrive doing what they love.

Rebecca’s particular interests include working with new leaders to discover their authentic style, and helping natural ‘introverts’ use their preferences to an advantage. As a committed introvert herself, with an open style of communication and affinity for continuous improvement, Rebecca generously shares her reflections ‘out loud’ in hope that her musings and self-discovery could be useful to others as much as to herself. She recognises the value of pairing humour with humility as a leader.
