Liz Rivers

Liz Rivers – Resident Expert in authentic leadership, purpose and thriving in male dominated environments.

Liz specialises in helping women to develop their own authentic leadership style so they can be themselves at work and navigate their career path skillfully.  She frequently works with women in traditionally male-dominated sectors such as investment banking, law, construction, computer games, international trade and elite sports.

She combines commercial acumen with deep psychological expertise. Formerly a City lawyer for over a decade with global law firm Eversheds Sutherland, she was the first woman in the UK to become an accredited commercial mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution and is one of handful of women to be recommended by Chambers Guide and the Legal 500 as a leading mediator for executive disputes.

Alongside this she is a registered psychotherapist and expert in the emerging field of embodied leadership, a way of using our posture and breath to effortlessly radiate leadership presence.

Her clients include The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Grant Thornton, HMRC, The World Trade Organisation, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Said Business School, Greenpeace UK and the Rugby Football Union.   She’s an expert contributor on BBC radio and writes for the Huffington Post.
