Mark Brown
Resident Expert in behaviour change and e-learning.
After more than 20 years in senior roles in Financial Markets and Banking, Mark realised he should actually turn his focus on people in earnest. Mark is passionate about psychology, the study of the human mind and behaviour and its practical application. So, whilst working, he educated himself with a degree in Psychology supported by courses in coaching, leadership and training and moved out of the corporate structure into the innovation world.
Mark is a member of the British Psychological Society and a member of the Association of Business Psychologists.
Mark has a rare blend of being goal orientated and empathetic at the same time and, having navigated banking’s corporate environments in the US, Asia, Australia and Europe, realised there was more fun, and purpose, in helping others develop and grow.
Mark recently set up Psybersafe, an online platform for cyber safety learning. Using an evidence-based approach, Psybersafe can elicit real positive change in employee cyber behaviour. Mark’s interest in behavioural psychology and e-learning presents unique opportunities to transcend the impact of learning and the formation of new habits at scale.
Mark combines this with his consulting, executive coaching, and Thinking Environment® practice – and embeds the Thinking Environment concepts and principles in his work.
As part of his engagement with Voice At The Table, Mark shares his knowledge through training on how to run effective virtual meetings.
